What we work on

Six areas. One plan.

Sleep changes blood sugar. Stress changes hormones. The gut changes what reaches your cells. These areas are not separate, so I read them together and build one plan that connects them.

How I work

Measure. Compare. Balance.

  1. Measure

What matters for you, and only tests whose answer would change what we do.

  2. Compare

Your results against optimal ranges, not only the lab's normal range.

  3. Balance

Foundations first, then the gentlest effective option, one change at a time.

The six areas

What we work on together.

  1. Sleep & circadian rhythm

    Timing, light, rest and repair

Sleep is when your body repairs and resets. When it is off, I look for why before reaching for a sleep aid.

    What I look at

Your sleep and wake times, light, caffeine and alcohol, related labs (thyroid, iron, cortisol, hormones), and wearable trends over weeks.

    How it connects

Blood sugar, hormones, recovery and appetite all follow sleep.

  2. Nutrition & digestive health

What you eat, and how you digest it

Not a diet. A way of eating built around your labs, your goals, and the life you actually live.

    What I look at

A normal day of eating, protein and fiber, alcohol, lipids and blood sugar markers, key nutrients, and a glucose monitor for a few weeks when useful. For digestion: your symptoms, and a stool test you collect at home when the answer would change the plan.

    How it connects

Cardiometabolic health, muscle, hormones and sleep.

  3. Movement & fitness

    Strength, cardio and mobility

Strength, fitness and mobility are what let you keep doing what you love for decades. We build the right mix for your age, goals and joints.

    What I look at

What you do now, injuries, recovery, resting heart rate and HRV, and DEXA and VO2max testing when a fitness assessment is of interest.

    How it connects

Muscle is a major user of blood sugar, and training has to match recovery.

  4. Stress & recovery

    How your body handles load

Your stress system is built for short bursts. When it runs all the time, it shows up in sleep, energy, digestion and mood.

    What I look at

What is on your plate, how you wind down, cortisol and thyroid markers, and HRV and resting heart rate trends.

    How it connects

Sleep, hormones, blood sugar and the gut.

  5. Hormone & sexual health

    Energy, muscle, mood, sleep

Hormones are the body’s messaging system. We look closely when the symptoms and the labs point there, and treat when it is indicated.

    What I look at

Symptoms and history, a full hormone and thyroid panel read together, and what sits upstream: sleep, stress, body fat and alcohol.

    How it connects

    Sleep, metabolism, muscle and stress.

  6. Cardiometabolic health

Heart, blood pressure, blood sugar, lipids

Changes in blood sugar and blood fats start years before a standard lab flags a disease. We look early and read the numbers together.

    What I look at

Fasting insulin and glucose, HbA1c, ApoB and lipid particles, Lp(a), inflammation, body composition, and heart imaging when risk calls for it.

    How it connects

Sleep, stress, movement, nutrition and hormones all shape it.

One marker is a clue. Three markers are a story.

I look for patterns across your history, labs and data, not single numbers.

What I look at

Testing, when the answer would change the plan.

Testing is individualized and optional: at cost, no markup. You see it before you decide.
