Your personal longevity doctor in Charlotte.

I am Dr. Daniel Tagge, MD, North Carolina’s only fully certified Health Optimization Medicine physician. Concierge longevity and health optimization: healthspan first, longevity is the echo. Every relationship starts with the establishing consultation, and in the Charlotte metro I do it in your own home.

How to work with me

Six ways to work with me.

One physician, one ladder: order as much doctor as you need, from a single lab panel to the full concierge relationship. The fee is published and annual. Testing is the second number, billed at my actual cost with the invoice visible and always quoted as about.

  • Lab panels, from $197: Physician-built testing ordered a la carte, no membership required. Interpretation, a video consultation, and a plan are included.
  • The establishing consultation: Every relationship starts here: one thorough visit, in your home across the Charlotte metro or by video, with your Precision Health Plan after.
  • The practice, all in for the year: Itemized as my fee plus testing at my cost. I am your doctor: house calls when you need one, my direct number, unhurried visits, prescriptions handled, and the deep work built in. I order your testing, interpret every result, build your protocol, and adjust it as we learn.
  • Virtual Primary Care, all in for the year: Itemized as my fee plus baseline testing at my cost. I am your doctor: unlimited virtual visits across North Carolina, prescriptions handled, messaging, testing and medications at cost.
  • Concierge, all in for the year: Itemized as my fee plus your testing at my cost, with every round handled for you. I am your doctor and I come to you: quarterly home visits plus whenever something comes up, across the Charlotte metro, with 24/7 access to my personal number and your testing logistics handled.

Every ongoing relationship starts with the consultation,. Only the fee has a cadence: quarterly, or prepaid with months free. No scan theater: where some longevity memberships bundle five-figure whole-body scans you may not need, I don’t.

How to choose

Choosing a concierge or longevity doctor in Charlotte.

Charlotte has five broadly different kinds of practice competing for the same search, and the brochures make them sound identical. They are not. Here is the honest map, including where mine is the wrong choice.

The kinds of concierge, longevity, and primary care practice you will find in Charlotte, NC, and what separates them.
Kind of practiceWhat it is best atWho runs your careWhat to ask about
Insurance-based primary careAcute illness, chronic disease management, and everything insurance was designed to cover.Your physician and a care team, on a panel of a couple thousand patients. How long the visit is, and how fast a message gets answered.
Hospital-system conciergeFaster access inside a system you already use, with its specialists behind it.Your physician, with staff support.Whether the membership fee sits on top of insurance, and whether visits are still billed.
National concierge networkA standardized concierge experience built around a thorough annual physical.Your physician, following the network's program.Whether there is an initiation fee on top of the annual fee.
Longevity or med-spa clinicQuick access to testing, hormones, IVs, and imaging.Varies. Often a nurse practitioner or a coach working from a protocol.Who reads your results, and whether the practice profits from what it sells you.
Physician-led direct care (this practice)Primary care and longevity in one relationship, with everything billed at cost.Me. A board-certified MD, taking a handful of households at a time. That it is cash pay. If you want your visits billed to insurance, I am the wrong answer.

If another practice in Charlotte answers those questions in a way that fits you better, take it. They are the right questions either way.
