This Privacy Policy describes how Tagge Health & Wellness, PLLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Dr. Daniel Garth Tagge, M.D., collects, uses, and protects information obtained through our website at taggehealth.com and through our virtual health optimization services.
This Policy applies to all website visitors, prospective patients, and current patients. It is distinct from our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs how we handle Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect: IP address and browser type, pages viewed, referring website or search terms, device type and operating system. This is collected via cookies including Google Analytics.
If you become a patient, health and medical information necessary to provide care is collected. This PHI is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, not this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We work with trusted third-party vendors, each required to handle your information securely. Where required by HIPAA, we have executed a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with each vendor that may access PHI.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any email or contacting care@taggehealth.com. Transactional and appointment-related emails cannot be opted out of while you are an active patient.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Our patient records system (Healthie) uses encryption in transit and at rest. No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
Under North Carolina law (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 90-21.12), adult patient medical records must be retained for a minimum of 11 years from the date of the last patient encounter. Non-patient personal information is retained no longer than 3 years.

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.
