This Privacy Policy describes how Tagge Precision Health, PLLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Dr. Daniel Garth Tagge, M.D., collects, uses, and protects information obtained through our website at taggehealth.com and through our virtual health optimization services.

This Policy applies to all website visitors, prospective patients, and current patients. It is distinct from our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs how we handle Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.

B. Information Collected Automatically

We use Plausible Analytics to track visitor behavior and conversion metrics on our website. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It collects only essential metrics such as page views, referrer sources, and conversion events (e.g., button clicks). Standard server logs maintained by our hosting provider may briefly retain technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) for security and uptime purposes; this data is not used for marketing and is not shared with third parties.

C. Patient Health Information

If you become a patient, health and medical information necessary to provide care is collected. This PHI is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, not this Privacy Policy.

We work with trusted third-party vendors, each required to handle your information securely. Where required by HIPAA, we have executed a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with each vendor that may access PHI.

• Stripe – Payment processing via Healthie (BAA in place)
• Google Workspace – Business email and file storage (HIPAA-compliant; BAA in place)
• Plausible Analytics – Website analytics (privacy-friendly; no cookies; no personal data collected)

4. Marketing Use and Tracking Technologies

We use Plausible Analytics on this website to track visitor engagement and conversion metrics. Plausible is privacy-friendly, does not use cookies, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, or any other tracking technology. Any information you provide after clicking to Healthie is stored under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement and is not shared for marketing purposes.

• Cookies: We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Plausible Analytics operates without cookies.

5. Lead Generation & Social Media Advertising

We may collect your name and email address when you voluntarily submit them through our website forms or through social media lead advertisements (such as Facebook and Instagram Lead Ads). We use this information solely to deliver requested resources (for example, downloadable guides) and to send occasional health education, practice updates, and service information relevant to Tagge Precision Health.

We do not sell your personal information. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or by contacting us at care@taggehealth.com. Lead information collected for marketing purposes is stored separately from protected health information (PHI) and is not used for clinical care unless you become an established patient.

6. Email Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any email or contacting care@taggehealth.com. Transactional and appointment-related emails cannot be opted out of while you are an active patient.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Our patient records system (Healthie) uses encryption in transit and at rest. No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

8. Data Retention

Under North Carolina law (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 90-21.12), adult patient medical records must be retained for a minimum of 11 years from the date of the last patient encounter. Non-patient personal information is retained no longer than 3 years.

9. Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of your personal information
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion, subject to legal retention obligations
• Opt-Out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time
