Precision Health Assessment
Understand what your health data is actually telling you.
The Precision Health Assessment is an in-depth physician evaluation of your health history, current physiology, risks, goals, and existing data. I bring those pieces together into one clear clinical picture: what is working, where your physiology is drifting, and what deserves attention next. You leave with a written plan.
Virtual by default. In the Charlotte metro it can happen at your kitchen table instead.
No doctor's note looks like this.
Why this exists
You have the information. Nobody has put it together.
By the time most people find this page, they have accumulated years of health information:
- Annual physicals
- Labs, some flagged, most “normal”
- Family history
- Symptoms without a diagnosis
- Medications and supplements
- Wearable data
- Specialist opinions
Each piece was read once, alone, by whoever ordered it. Most healthcare is organized around diseases, organs, visits, and individual results, so it can tell you whether you are sick. The Precision Health Assessment asks a different question: how well is your physiology actually functioning, and what does the whole pattern say about you?
The method
Measure. Compare. Balance.
I read your records through Health Optimization Medicine, a clinical framework for evaluating a person’s physiology as one connected system. I am the only physician in North Carolina fully certified to practice it. You do not need to learn the framework; it is how the work gets done.
Measure
What is happening now?
I establish an accurate picture of your current health from your history, your existing medical data, examination when relevant, and additional testing only when it will genuinely improve the clinical picture.
Compare
How does it compare with where you want to be?
I look beyond whether a result simply falls inside a broad laboratory reference interval. I interpret it in the context of your age, risks, prior results, and the rest of your physiology.
Balance
What deserves attention?
We identify the highest-value opportunities to move your health in a better direction, while avoiding unnecessary testing, supplements, and treatment.
What you will learn
What matters, what connects, and what comes next.
The Assessment is built so that you leave able to make decisions about your own health. Together we go through:
- What looks healthy and resilient, and is worth protecting
- Where your physiology is moving away from where you want it
- Which findings matter most, and what may connect ones that seem unrelated
- Where additional testing would actually change a decision, and where it would not
- What deserves action now, and what does not need action at all
- What belongs with your primary care physician or a specialist
Clarity without hype. Depth without unnecessary complexity. A plan based on what your physiology actually shows.
What you receive
The visit is the middle of the work.
Before the visit
The review
I review everything you send before we meet: prior labs, imaging, specialist notes, wearable data, and my own intake covering your history, lifestyle, stress, and goals. No recent lab work is required; we work from what you already have. This preparation is most of the work of the Assessment.
During the visit
The conversation
We sit down together, at your kitchen table in the Charlotte metro or on video anywhere in North Carolina. We walk through the dominant patterns in your health, your risks, your priorities, and your goals, in an unhurried conversation that ends when your questions do.
After the visit
The written plan
You receive your written assessment: what we found, your priorities in order, recommendations for further evaluation where it would genuinely change a decision, and a clear path forward. It is yours to keep and yours to act on, with me or with your own physician.
Is this assessment right for you?
This is designed for you if
- You have a stack of records and results that no physician has ever evaluated as a single, interlocking system.
- You feel sluggish, out of balance, or exhausted, yet your standard laboratory work consistently comes back normal.
- You want to be proactive about your health, but you cannot tell what matters and what is noise.
- You want a board-certified physician to tell you plainly where you stand and what is worth doing next.
After the visit
The Assessment stands on its own.
You leave with the written plan either way. What happens next is a decision we make together, and only if you want a next.
You keep the plan
Some patients want one thorough physician review and nothing more. That is a complete outcome, and you are free to act on the plan with your own physician.
Longevity care
Keep your primary care physician. I take on the health and longevity role alongside them.
Precision Partnership
Membership may be offered after your Assessment, based on mutual fit and practice capacity. The panel is deliberately small.
Ready to begin?
One flat fee.
I do not believe in hidden billing, complex insurance codes, or per-minute charges. My clinical fee covers my time, unhurried review, and total focus on your health.
Precision Health Assessment fee
$500one time
One visit, one fee. Testing is not bundled. If new testing is worth doing, I will say so, and its cost and follow-up are agreed separately.
Apply for an AssessmentI personally review every application, because this is a small, physician-led practice and each Assessment requires substantial preparation before we meet.
If your application is accepted, I’ll send you a private link through the patient portal to complete payment and scheduling. Nothing is charged when you apply.
If the visit goes well and I invite you to continue, through Precision Partnership or longevity-focused care alongside your own physician, your fee is applied toward your first year. We decide that together, within 30 days.
Would you rather talk it through first? Talk to Dr. Tagge. That call is free and carries no obligation.
Questions
Practical questions.
Ongoing messaging between visits, longitudinal monitoring, and primary care. Those belong to Precision Partnership. The Assessment is one visit, the work behind it, and the written plan you keep.
Still have a question?
Whether the Assessment is right for your situation, what I would want to see beforehand, how this works alongside a physician you already have. I answer these myself, and asking does not put you in a funnel.
