Longevity Doctor · Raleigh, NC

A longevity doctor for Raleigh who reads your biology, not a protocol.

I am Dr. Daniel Tagge, MD, a board-certified family physician and North Carolina’s only fully certified Health Optimization Medicine physician. I am based in Charlotte and see Triangle patients virtually. Your labs are drawn locally, and I read them against optimal physiology into a written plan.

What it actually means

Longevity care is not anti-aging. It is reading your physiology against optimal.

Most primary care asks one question: do you have a disease yet. Longevity medicine asks a different one: where is your biology drifting from optimal, and what is that drift going to cost you in five, ten, thirty years.

The answer comes from data. Labs that go beyond the standard panel, gut and metabolic testing, hormone status, body composition, training data, and your own history. The work is to read it all in one synthesis and find the early signals: subclinical inflammation, insulin resistance long before it shows as diabetes, ApoB and Lp(a) cardiovascular risk that standard cholesterol panels miss, nutrient gaps that explain fatigue, gut dysfunction that drives mood and immune symptoms.

The Triangle is full of people who work with data for a living. RTP scientists, Duke and UNC researchers, engineers, founders. If that is you, you already know the difference between a reference range and a target. My practice applies that standard to your own biology, with a physician doing the synthesis instead of a dashboard.

You get all of it read by me, in writing, with priorities ranked by impact. The plan is yours to keep, share with your other physicians, and act on yourself if you want to. Nothing about it is templated.

How to start

Start at the depth you want.

Three ways in. Order a single physician-interpreted panel, from $197, drawn at a Quest location near you. Take the Precision Workup, the full diagnostic deep dive with a written plan and a ninety-day implementation, from $3,000. Or join the Precision Partnership, the ongoing membership at $150 a month with every lab at cost. The rate rises as the practice grows, and members keep the rate they joined at.
