Cost · Charlotte, NC

What concierge medicine costs in Charlotte.

Most concierge practices will not put a number on a page. I will. Here is the membership, what is included, what testing costs, and where every dollar goes.

The short answer

One membership fee. Everything else at cost.

$600/mo solo

$1,000/mo for a couple

Annual

$6,000 / $10,000 couple

Month to month, solo or per couple, with no enrollment fee. Paid annually it is ten months for twelve. That fee covers my time and your access: 24/7 direct text to me, unlimited visits, same-day and next-day appointments, house calls across the Charlotte metro, your annual well visit at home, and home medical acupuncture.

Everything I order is billed at my actual cost with the invoice visible. Labs, medications, and imaging when your risk warrants it. I make $0 markup on any of it, which means the only thing you are ever paying me for is the thinking.

You keep your insurance. This is not insurance and it does not replace it. It replaces the fifteen-minute visit and the three-day portal reply.

Line by line

Where every dollar goes.

Concierge medicine costs at Tagge Health in Charlotte, NC, broken out by what you pay and whether it carries any markup.

Labs and medications at cost is a different thing from included, and the distinction is worth being precise about: you pay exactly what I pay, and you see the invoice.

The testing

What the panels actually cost.

There are 9 panels on the à la carte menu, running $197 to $799 for a non-member. That price is built from the lab work itself, a $10 Quest draw fee, a $9.50 authorization fee, and a $97 physician interpretation. Nothing else is added to it.

Members pay none of the interpretation fee. Reading your data is what the membership is. When you move into the deeper longevity work, the Precision Workup and metabolomics, we scope it together on a call first: labs at cost, and my fee for the work stated plainly before anything gets ordered. You will not receive a bill you did not agree to in advance.

Comparing fairly

Three questions to ask any concierge practice.

Concierge fees in the Charlotte market vary widely and most are quoted only after a consultation, so a straight price comparison is hard to do honestly. What you can compare is structure. Three questions get you most of the way.

Is there an initiation fee on top of the membership? Many programs carry one, and it does not always appear in the number you are first quoted.

Will my visits still be billed to insurance? In most concierge programs the answer is yes, which means the membership fee is in addition to your premium, your deductible, and your copays rather than instead of them.

Does the practice make money on what it orders? Labs, supplements, imaging, IVs. Ask directly. The answer tells you whether a recommendation is a clinical judgment or a revenue line.

My answers, in order: no, no, and no. If another practice in Charlotte answers the same way and is a better fit for you, take it. Those are the right questions either way.
